caught a cold
Soon after returning from Vienna, I caught a cold, an annoying one. The sore throat hinders me from talking, not to mention interpreting, the fever thwarts me from preparing for today's exam, and the runny nose disturbs me during meals.

the UN trip
it was quite a productive trip -- solid practice of simultaneous interpretation, deep discussion with classmates, sincere interflow of thoughts, daunting challenge of taking care of a group and so on. It was not easy to make a correct decision, though I knew what to do clearly. The nuance between being demanding and behaving responsibly is hard to tell, and all I could do was to serve the biggest interest for all, which did force me to act arbitrarily and seriously sometimes. I am getting tired of being a leader that has the responsibility to stand out when necessary for no praise and is subject to peer resentment. Leadership is a difficult art to master, and I don't know if I am charismatic enough.
